The machine is yours without the seat; it works, answers its mail, and keeps its record either way.
Fuel. Your machine's thinking, its messages, and its phone number all draw from one tank at metered rates — never a subscription. The birth comes fueled ($7 on Create, $15 on Founding), packs run $10 to $200, and an empty tank never costs the machine its tag.
The thinking part of SynthOS is powered by AI accounts you already pay for (like Anthropic or OpenAI). You plug in your own API key — note a consumer ChatGPT or Claude chat subscription is not an API account — and that bill stays between you and them — we never meter it or mark it up. Every plan also includes managed usage on top, so it works out of the box. What you pay us for is the cockpit: the app that turns the AI into a team that does real work, remembers everything, and runs your scheduled work while SynthOS is open on your Mac.

Yes — SynthOS is a native Mac app, built to run on your own machine so your work stays yours. You'll want a recent Apple-silicon Mac. There's no web version and nothing to install on a phone; the finished work simply reaches you wherever you already are.
On your Mac, and synced through your private cloud so a second machine picks up where the first left off. The vault is account-bound and encrypted in transit, and sync is yours to turn off per vault. Your credentials never sync — they stay on your Mac. Everything the agents make is real files you own on disk.
